AMF Media Group Overview

AMF Media is looking for an Account Supervisor with experience leading team members and client engagements to support large real estate development, professional services and healthcare clients. The Account Supervisor should be both a leader and a doer. Specifically, you will be the primary point of contact for several PR clients, driving all strategies and tactics, anticipating challenges, troubleshooting problems, proposing solutions, offering counsel and proactive thought leadership, and ensuring deadline and budget adherence. The Account Supervisor will also play a significant content role within the agency, contributing to both PR copy as well as content needs for a wide variety of marketing and creative projects.

Role Summary

  • Develop and manage the implementation of client PR and internal communications programs while working cross-functionally with other departments to ensure overall client success
  • Proactively identify earned media/influencer, community relations, speaking and award opportunities and prepare clients for media encounters
  • Pitch news stories and features to digital and traditional media and influencers to keep client stories front and center
  • Monitor news on behalf of clients and recommend competitive strategies
  • Write and develop internal communications messaging that aligns with client goals, objectives and employee needs including announcements, executive talking points, FAQs and intranet content
  • Build, grow and strengthen social communities for clients, including monitoring trends/themes to keep social content timely, relevant and ahead of the curve where possible
  • Conduct comprehensive analysis and report on success metrics
  • Lead client and PR team meetings, brainstorming sessions, office activities and staff meetings
  • Successfully collaborate on a multitude of projects with creative and cross-functional staff including account managers, digital campaign managers, graphic designers and videographers
  • Create well-written and inspiring copy to support PR initiatives as well as broader agency projects (channels may include press releases, editorials, magazine articles, website copy, marketing emails, blogs and internal communications features)
  • Consistently create clean, compelling copy free of spelling, grammatical and formatting errors
  • Provide proofreading support for the agency as a whole
  • Work independently to anticipate problems before they arise; find solutions, follow-up on your own initiative
  • Track hours to client contracts to ensure that you and other team members are within budget
  • Develop program case studies and submit agency work for awards and industry recognition
  • Assist in new business activities for the agency
