    As a Finance Assistant & Office Administrator for AMF Media Group, you will play a key role in the day-to-day operation of workflow by assisting and supporting our Finance Manager. This position will have an emphasis on professional service & media billing, collections, accounts payable coordination, and general office administration.

    Role Summary

    WHAT YOU’LL DO

    • Assists Finance Manager with AR Billing/Invoicing, Invoice distributions, and AR Collections.
    • Dockets all client related expenses for billing and reconciles to AP invoices.
    • Assists media buyer(s) with media docketing.
    • Coordinates vendor documentation and set up with Accounts Payable team.
    • Assists with submittal of vendor invoices to Accounts Payable team.
    • Assists with monthly credit card reconciliations and matches purchase receipts.
    • Opens new clients and client engagements.
    • Assists with inter-office and inter-department communications.
    • Maintains accounting department filing (AP, AR/Client files, etc.).
    • Prioritizes assigned accounting work and tasks and undertakes them as needed.
    • Follow up with company staff to get answers or required action when needed. Helps to assure the timeliness of all departmental responsibilities.
    • General office administration: Reception (front desk), phones, mail, calendars, building/office maintenance coordination, correspondence, office inventories/supply orders, office errands, and other clerical tasks as assigned.

     

    WHAT YOU’LL NEED

    • Understanding of basic accounting principles.
    • Education and/or experience in accounting, marketing, business, and related fields of work/study is preferred.
    • Computer (hardware/software) Knowledge – This position is expected to have proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) as well as internal company software.
    • Data entry skills, including 10-key
    • High degree of accuracy with numbers and details.
    • Strong organizational and analytical skills
    • Friendly and professional appearance and manner
